CRSwNP Awareness Day 2025: A Day of Science, Stories, and Connection

On April 24th, 2025, the Vienna Airway Lab proudly hosted a specialevent for Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP) Awareness Day— and it was an overwhelming success.
We welcomed a full lecture hall of patients, physicians, andresearchers, who came together to share knowledge, experiences, and newperspectives on CRSwNP.
The program featured renowned scientists presenting the latest insights into the pathogenesis of CRSwNP, current and emerging treatment options, and the future of research in airway diseases.
A particularly moving part of the day were the patient stories —real-life accounts that highlighted the day-to-day challenges of living with CRSwNP and reminded everyone of the importance of patient-centered care.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all patients who attended and especiallyto those who shared their personal experiences. Your openness and couragedeeply enriched the discussions and inspired all participants.
We are grateful to all speakers, attendees, and contributors who helpedmake this Awareness Day a true success. Events like this strengthen the vital connection between science, clinical care, and the lived experiences of patients — and reaffirm our shared commitment to improving the lives of those affected by chronic airway diseases.
We look forward to continuing this important dialogue and collaboration in the future.
