Comic Abstract of our Paper on Deep Immunoprofiling of Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Cooperating with the very talented young scientist and artist, Sara Miranda, we proudly present a humoristic and educative comic strip that illustrates our latest findings.

Despite having similar symptoms, the cellular profiles in nasal allergy and chronic sinusitis are very different! In allergy, white blood cells showed a signature of Th2a T cells. Patients with nasal polyps had more activated naïve B cells in blood, while those suffering from chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps have a higher percentage of resting B cells. It’s always great to try new communication strategies.
